What an infinitely out-of-date computer, if it can even be called that.

The only bottleneck I can see on that computer would have to be the Video Card. Granted, it is a good card, but its easily the weakest part of the system. Other then that, I'm jealous

For serious. "ATI MOBILITY"?? Never even heard of it. Sounds like it's for a laptop, or some kind of vegetable.

What you need is Quad 3Ghz Xeon processing with 12GB of DDR. Then when your not gaming you can let NASA use it for plotting the universe.

hmm the graphics card isnt that bad it can run World of Warcraft on high and still manage 40 fps but yeah im thinking about upgrading it to the 9800 mobile with 256

I think I can beat you in three areas -

I have a 1920x1200 screen
My battery lasts 4 hours on normal use (Pentium M >> Pentium 4 (HT or not))
My laptop costs like $4000 less than yours
But other than that, nice :) Just remember not to burn the family jewels while you burn and pillage.

Silly gamers... lap tops are for programmers and scientists, not for playing games.

lap_top = sucky for upgrading + (expensive * a.lot);
Desktop = owns(lap_top) => atGaming;

my laptop will mop the floor with most gamers systems. it not quite as nice HD's but does have some features his doesn't

Acer travelmate 4501
1.5ghz pentium M
512MB ddr400
64mb dedicated radeon mobility 9700
15.4inch wxga screen capable of resolutions up to 2048x1536
dvd-+rw/ram drive
3in1 card reader
built in wireless g

plus its thinner then most laptops. don't recall exact measurement though.

I can goto my budies house and lan on the wireless router for 4 hours or so before my battery gets low and i don't need to have a single wire connected to the laptop :)

"Mop the floor with most gamers' systems"?

Dude, my PC is 3 years old and it freakin' owns your system.

Besides, in two weeks your laptop will be so obsolete you won't be able to find replacement keys for it. Yeah, 'cause you're going to need them after you smack the hell out of that plastic hunk of crap for being too damn slow at running SNES ROMS.

Maybe I exagerate a little...

meh. :D

2048x1536? I've never heard of that resolution for a laptop. This is all at once on the screen, not some software scrolling around of the desktop, right? Can you give a link for it?

i must have been stoned yesterday when i typed that. for the lcd the res is 1280x800 for the secondary screen it has the ability to do 2048x1536.

Yeah. I wish I had CSS though... :( still waiting on HL2.

And no, in Java the "println" statement automatically prints a carriage return.

C:/root rm -rf /*
That makes no sense. Linux systems dont have C: drives.
