Rate militia!!!!!!!

ok this is simiple play the new map cs_militia and rate it 1-10 and way you gave it its rating!!

9 - Because its very detailed and very nicly made with lighting. now I know why its not a 10 because unlike the old militia its not open BECAUSE if it was your computer would blow up and only a few people could play it with good fps. unlike the old one this is VERY detailed and they cant just have huge open areas. so thats why its not a 10 because our computers suck and they know it.

nice map and all but i get like 30 fps on that map. This is what happend to me with de_port and the other map that came out together.

i know that you guys had the militia map for quite some time but it would be better if it was part of a rotation.

theres not alot of people out there who are willing to play militia for 24/7

i havent really played the map much, but if it truly is one sided then i must say that valve needs to wake up. I never played 1.6, but i hear that all the maps that are unbalanced now were unbalanced back in 1.6. Why did valve bother to take the time to remake a map if they weren't going to fix what was wrong with it in the first place? Unbalanced maps lead to unbalanced teams, and unbalanced teams leads to crappy game experience. Man i should write a letter....and not some stupid email either. I mean a real letter, where the hell is my parchment and quill?

The map is *WAY* more balanced than it has been in the past. I've seen it flip several times in the course of an hour.

i really like militia, but playing militia on my normal dust setting is not even possible, which IMO is pretty stupid....


and having HDR or what ever is just plain dumb, i mean you need a uber system to even use it, and i garante 98% of people dont, and even if they have a uber system wont run HDR when they play. HDR=usless

HDR makes things pretty. Lots of gamers love pretty graphics; however HDR is not a great thing to have enabled when you're playing an FPS because it makes the gameplay more realistic (e.g. YOU WILL DIE).

Due to the fact that HDR mimics the effects of sunlight on your eyes, having such a thing enabled whilst playing against 12 people who don't will put you at a disavdantage. And I know who you people are too, because I snipe you from in front of the Sun and you're all like "WHAT?! I couldn't even see him! IMPOSSIBLE! OMG!!!!1!one."

The lightning effects are superb. I especially enjoyed coming out of the sewer, into the light, and having my eyes adjust. The map isn't too graphically intense to cause me many frame losses, but it does have it's occassional lag. I'd give it a 7. And I do find it is one-sided: for the CTs.
