CSS:RPG Mod - Yes/No?

Recently this mod came to my attention: http://cssrpg.sourceforge.net/about.php

It looks pretty cool and so I was thinking about installing it - but not full time. Perhaps have the server auto enable CSS:RPG mod during certain parts of the day, or like 1 day a week. Let me know what you guys think.

I say we lock down the server for a night and try to figure out how this mod goes...As in play it just the admins so we can monitor and explain the gameplay to new players as they arrive. It looks like an ok mod. Reminds me of Warcraft 3 for 1.6

I've been playing it for a few days now and I gotta say... unless people start from the beginning with it before some of our 'hardcore' members get to playing... it's gonna get bad.

Just from my perspective with my current status on an rpg server, I just run around with a shotgun and mow down almost anyone without having to worry about dying cause well, I have 300hp and I regen and leech life on top of that.

New people coming to server will hate it... the people who have been playing it for a while will love to slaughter.

On a side note, it stops people going crazy with the AWP. You'll end up having an assload of p90s and Paras :)

If we do end up running the rpg server occasionally, you'll have to make sure that the stats reset along with it.

Im down for this, it looks cool as hell.

I got the files downloaded, but the site doesn't really show how to get this up and running. Anyone know where or how to try this out?

Its a good mod and all but it could scare away some people... :confused:

Lets go for one night a week, but i like the idea of allowing admins to try it out first one night just to get the hang of it before it's on the server.

I say go for it, its a nice change and its not like where going to run it 24/7 :p

i like hooter's idea about doing it one night a week, and i also like the idea of closing down teh server one day to learn it.

but i dont think it should be a permanent thing or something we do every day. my reasons being the same as liggy's.
