Nice bob,I see some liquid cooling in there, sadly I also see ATI card in there. BOOOOOO!!!! Nvidia all the way!

Well thanks for the pic, I knew some others had something. I think people should show off their stuff more. I actually gotta do some wiring job on mine, but my mobo had a DIMM slot go bad, so I have to get a new mobo, just don't really feel up to doing all that, plus my hsf is mounted to the board and would be painful to remove.

so you're saying that you have 4 graphics cards in your pc, and noe you want to make it 8? Overkill comes to mind.

SLI=Nvidia
Crossover=ATI

Yeah there is not going to be 8 cards.

The 7950 is a dual card, think of a dual core processor. And when you add those in SLI = 4 ( quad ) card.

I liked the benchmarks of it, but when ATI did " their " test it showed a x1900XTX beating out 1 card. But then again, they're going to have their bench in favor.

LOl dual SLi bitches soon to be quad! :D

I think thats where the confusion is. You said "dual SLI", meaning 2 sets of SLI'd cards...which I don't even think is possible.

but you said dual SLI. SLI means 2 graphics cards, putting dual in front of SLI would then multiply those 2 graphics cards by 2 meaning you have four graphics cards. I dont really know why you would want 2 graphics cards. You spend a small fortune to buy the two cards, but withint a few months there is a new card that is just as good as both of the 2 that you have combined. Not only that but the new card can usualy do much better stuff an example being HDR or the soon to be DX10.

well DX10 drops with vista, Not XP, so if you wanna wait for Dx10, you're waiting for Vista, and if Im right I read weeks ago Vista was delayed again.

Plus check out the benchmarks from Ananadtech.com the 7950 is great, but at normal res 1280x1024 it does get beat, but at like 2550x1920 some crap it out performs the 1900xtx. Right now the XTX is the better card to go with, and a lot cheaper than the 7950. But I love nvidia, just my 7800GTX @ 522/1440 is still kickin ass!

Well I also have a SONY VAIO Pentium M 1.73ghz 1GB ram, 80GB HDD, dedicated 128MB 6200 and I can also play anywhere I want, lol.

Host, which linux do you prefer? Redhat? Unbuntu or Fedora? I know they all do different things and what one likes would be different for someone else. Just curious.

I use Fedora for this computer, my desktop. Fedora because I can get the latest bleeding edge technology/features.

I use CentOS which is identical to RedHat Enterprise, but free on all our servers. The new game server runs CentOS now too. CentOS like RedHat Enterprise is extrememly stable and secure.
