Thats a video card problem, most likely going out. From working as a DELL notebook repair technician, I believe verticle lines is bad! Like the video card is dying, horizontal lines is something else, hell its been a while, but if Im right than verticle lines is bad, if Im wrong my bad, its 6am I can't think straight, lol

Verticale = bad, and it means the card is going out or some how a short hit it but it didnt crash....

time to start looking for a new vcard, that one won't last much longer.
vertical lines are a sign the card is failing and not transmitting the signal correctly. hope it wasn't expensive.

lol no, it was a radeon 9800 pro from 2-3 years ago, so i figured i would be needing a new card anyways... sigh, need a new hard drive (cuse i only have 80 gigs total =/ ), more memory(want more then a gig total), and another video card.... sigh.. so much for buying a new paintball gun =(
thanks guys
