f.e.a.r.
has anyone played f.e.a.r.? I installed the demo on my pc because i heard it was a great game. And to my surprise my pc ran everything on maximum settings. anyways, wow that game is SCARY. i am a little girl when it comes to scary movies, so i was kind of scared to play this one.
Well, i was playing the single player demo, running around killing people, you know the usual FPS stuff, when i heard a little girl laughing, and a shadow running across the hall, but no one was there. I was a little freaked out, but nothing big. So i continued to play. Later, about 5 mins, i got to this ladder, and when i was about to climb down, this little girl pops out of know where right in my face, Freakin FREAKED ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!! i uninstalled that demo so fast it wasnt even funny. So ya, anyone played it? |
man scary stuff freaks me out I like some scary movies but not the freaky scary pee pants ones. This game is not made for me.

F.E.A.R. RULES! Its by far the best fps of the year. I think its the best since half-life 2 came out. The AI is super smart and the firefights are amazing. Multiplayer rocks as well. Good game indeed.

It would run 1 to 10 fps on the lowest of low settings. What a piece of crap. It insulted my 3.58ghz pentium 4 processor and radeon x700 pro.

thats weird..... my x800xl PCi-X runs great, but i have AMD64.

Was very fun, immensly enjoyed playing it late at night with the lights out.
End was OK, can't wait for part 2. I ran it at about 80 fps at 1280x1024, all detail levels on high with my AMD 64 x2 3800 (OC to 4600), 7800 GT, and 2gb PC3200 2-3-2-5 DC RAM. |
251 fps. p2-500, Voodoo2 16meg, 128 megs of ram.
