Hey Lee! Good to see ya!

Things are going pretty well. You play TFC anymore? I kinda want to put up a TFC server along side the new CS Source server but I'm not sure where TFC is right now development wise. Do you know if they will be releasing a TFC on the new HL2 engine?

When we get servers up, ping should be real good for most people, our network is now connected primarily and directly to Level 3's Network in Tustin, CA. I want to get this place pumping with people like it use to be!

Happy Holidays to you as well!!!

Wow...that was too gay to be true, but I suppose I'll type all this again. IE got an error and closed when I hit submit reply
Wuzuuuuuu Jolly and anyone else who remembers me :D

I vote yes for a TFC server, but thats mainly because I still play it every day

PDGaming wewt, looks great Hm. I like the site layout :p Regarding TFC Source, Valve has said that it will port the game to Source, but has given us a lack of information on when and how it will happen. So far its not looking like it will happen. The TFC communities response to the lack of information was simple however. We spammed the Steam forums with a thread that got around 1000 posts in a single hour, all saying that we wanted TFC Source haha, that was fun stuff... Anywho, since Valve is giving us a lack of information, some of TFC's elite modelers, programmers, etc got together and have began to port TFC to Source, as a third-party game. So far it's looking really good, these guys are really talented at what they do.

Here's a link to the TFC Source development thread if your interested...

ANYWHO...yay for a tfc server. I'm all for it even if I'm the only one. And a big HEY to anyone out there who remembers me. Me n wrab will definitely be in the tfc server is there is one to come, and we will definitely bring some cool peeps along, that don't hack rofl...last serv almost seemed like hackers were the only ones to play there...

Caladium 12-16-2004 06:03 AM

Rofl said I used too many smilies...had to delete like 10 of em and add periods, now my post lost all its love and has periods instead of happy faces.. D:

Do sigs work?? Or is there some cool way to do it on these forums? oO

Sweet man, I hope we see a TFC:Source before too long. We'll see how the CS:Source server does when we put it up. I may have to make a decision between a CS 1.6 and TFC steam server.

.... if it comes to cs or tfc its hands down cs!

Caladium 12-16-2004 12:28 PM

I think on these forums CS would win the vote :p CS'ers outnumber TFC'ers 10 to 1 :)

Awesomisitist 12-16-2004 01:32 PM

A TFC server should be added instead of a second CS server.

RoDenT 12-16-2004 03:05 PM

I like both games really. I feel a tfc server should be put up instead of a cs server when it comes time to decide. The reason being, most if not everyone from 1.6 will be going to source and the only other mod left to have players would be the TFC mod.

HostMaster 12-16-2004 03:06 PM

Cool, thanks for the input! I'm leaning toward a TFC server. Another downside to running 2 versions of CS is that it could split the CS community here. I'd rather not do that... so hopefully people will upgrade!!

Caladium 12-16-2004 03:26 PM

I never thought TFC serv would win, but it might :D If it ever happens that you get a TFC serv, I would be happy to tell what maps you could put on it to mix it up a lil, instead of 2fort 24/7. Then it wouldn't get quite so boring after an hour or so lolz.

Alt F4 12-16-2004 10:49 PM

Well and Well 2!!

Kitch 12-16-2004 11:41 PM

It'd be awsome if we could get a TFC:S server...as long as its somewhat popular.

And yea, a little more variety then 2fort4. Like I said before, a map voting system at the end of every map, with it defaulting to 2fort4 would be perfect. I've seen lots of old school QW:TF servers use that, and some HL servers that way, so it definately possible

Alt F4 12-16-2004 11:49 PM

The simple solution to this dilemma, if we do get a TFC server, is to only have completely awesome maps installed. That way, not matter what the rotation, no matter what the vote, it will always be awesome.
