SLI=Nvidia
Crossover=ATI

Yeah there is not going to be 8 cards.

The 7950 is a dual card, think of a dual core processor. And when you add those in SLI = 4 ( quad ) card.

I liked the benchmarks of it, but when ATI did " their " test it showed a x1900XTX beating out 1 card. But then again, they're going to have their bench in favor.

I think thats where the confusion is. You said "dual SLI", meaning 2 sets of SLI'd cards...which I don't even think is possible.

I dont really know why you would want 2 graphics cards. You spend a small fortune to buy the two cards, but withint a few months there is a new card that is just as good as both of the 2 that you have combined. Not only that but the new card can usualy do much better stuff an example being HDR or the soon to be DX10.

well DX10 drops with vista, Not XP, so if you wanna wait for Dx10, you're waiting for Vista, and if Im right I read weeks ago Vista was delayed again.

Plus check out the benchmarks from Ananadtech.com the 7950 is great, but at normal res 1280x1024 it does get beat, but at like 2550x1920 some crap it out performs the 1900xtx. Right now the XTX is the better card to go with, and a lot cheaper than the 7950. But I love nvidia, just my 7800GTX @ 522/1440 is still kickin ass!
