our original server way back in the day was militia only, but we had map voting as well. I would like to see a map rotation like militia and dust2, but i would also like a militia only server with map voting. So really to me, I don't care how it ends up =P

Default need more maps

hey guys, why cant we add like bunch of maps to the rotation like b4? ex..office,italy,compound,aztec etc...or even custom maps. I agreed we get alot of players but we wont able to keep them for long and our old players leave. Playing 2 maps back and forth is kind of boring. Seriously I am sick with dust and dust 2 and soon militia if we plays it too much. Its like nothing new...we need like 6 maps to the rotation...I missed how our server used to be. what do u guys think?

i agree with you tuan i am extremely tired of dust and dust 2 too and i think i will get bored with militia the same way, but you do have to respect that fact that HM and the bunch want to go back to what they were used to back in 1.6. That was the server they all loved so much. Also the server was dead for quite sometime when we had regular map rotation, and it wasnt until host made the server 24/7 dust 2 that the server became popular again, and it is definately possible that this would happen again if more maps were added. I do think that maybe a day or two with map rotation on the server would be a good experiment to see if people will still play if there are other maps besides dust and dust2. At least militia only will have map vote, which is fine if thats all we can get.

p.s.: Actual the server has map vote on it right now, rockthevote can be initiated anytime and if succesful any map can be voted on. Its not really a true map vote, but i suppose it works for now.

We tried about a half dozen multi-map configurations before we ended up with dust/dust2 and it was empty 90% of the time. Soon enough it will be cs_militia ONLY with MAP VOTE. If you get bored of the map, vote for something else.

Yeah, Host when you try and make a map vote for multiple maps it only comes up with dust and dust2.
