Vent needs to be fixed or put on a diff server.

Vent crashes, lags, as well as css server lags and crashes. My Idea is its the hardware on it. Try and make sure vent is on a vent only physical server, and pd css is on a dedicated. I think other bandwidth is being drawed at times.

bandwidth is not an issue.

ventrilo sucks, plain and simple. its crazy buggy and we only run the free 8 user version.. at least for now. the Ventrilo people won't talk to you unless you want to resell an uber lot of user slots. pdgaming CS server, and vent on that box, thats it...

physical server been running 72 days tho, may be in need of a reboot.

Yea I know vent is lame like that. Vent is only given if you buy a thousand or so server licenses. Can you just say to heck with it and get Team Speak. I think it would be more beneficial in the long run. And easier to manage and use. Its not as good as vent but its better than the free vent, plus can have more people.

How many free slots does teamspeak allow?

I like how they have pricing at http://sales.tritoncia.com/pricing.php they seem more reasonable than Ventrilo, but our Vent server is totally free - we make no money off it and it isn't for business purposes, so I'm guessing their free download will work, but curious if it has any limitations.

dont waste your time paying for vent. Its more capital being flushed. You might as well burn your money instead. It would be more entertaining.

30-60 for teamspeak. Read my other thread host. The one in counter-strike discussions about COM. I added some stuff on teamspeak on it. Check it out. Or I will fly down there, beat you with my keyboard, and install teamspeak on every one of your physical servers. Then use it all for my self muahaha. HAHA. Come idle in my ts. !!!
