Hey guys, Im having problems with admin on my dedicated server.

Mani is in correctly, and I was able to have people join, but I can't seem to find out how to become admin. I think its ma v1.7. my adminlist.txt has this at the bottom for my steam id.

// STEAMID_01:XXXXXX;IP address

Same thing for Admingroups.txt too.

Anyone know what could be the snag here?

nah Im gonna run one on the pc in my sig. I just moved in my apt and I have like 5mbps internet. Nothing big, my clans server is awesome and everything 100 tick rate. But me and one of the other members were just messing around with the SDK. Dunno if we'll ever use it, just a wanna check it out kinda thing.

my old place was like 1.3mbps and Quake 4 was giving me like a 15ppl server through my computer, so my connection now would probably be higher.

The way you entered the steam ID, if this is the how you entered it, is not corrrect.

The last line in your Adminlst file should look like this;

STEAM_0:0:9570356

Get into a game and type status in console and you will get your ID, the above is mine. Also, get rid of the IP address, you don't need it unless you only want to admin from that specific IP.

Also anytime you "//" in front of a command it will ignore that command.
