Hey I got a friend that couldn't get steam..it always say fails after 4 tries...He have tried unistall it completely then reinstall it...still he received the same message...do any of u guys know how to fix this?:eek:

I was looking this problem up. and this is what I got. HAHAHA STEAM SUCKS AHHAHAH. *wait until the next update and they MIGHT fix it*. but thats just what I found.. maybe its wrong.. maybe not.. anyhow steam sucks.

maybe his firewall is blocking steam

i dont know if this helps, but i was having big problems with steam, i updated directX, and DL updated nvidia driver, and every thing works pretty go so far.

but if all his stuff is current, dunno.
