Why does everyone want to pretend they're using LongHorn?
That's like impersonating Michael Jackson (post 1994). It shows bad judgement. |

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Vista\Vista.msstyles you must make sure that the folder is named EXACTLY the same as the .msstyle file that's inside of it. Also make sure that with the .msstyle file there is also a folder named "Shell", some msstyles need the files inside the "Shell" folder to work, the Vista style needs the "Shell" folder to work. Also some msstyles come with fonts, you have to install them in order for the text and whatnot to be displayed correctly if it still doesn't work then, then the easy way is to just go to the .msstyle file and double click on it, doing so will launch the "display properties" dialog box, it'll give you a preview of the theme and just press the apply button to apply the theme. Some themes, like the vista style, have extra color schemes and the ability to compact the start menu, and display text in a different font don't forget to visit tacokingdom.com Hi BOb, the link to the screenshot now works, that's a rather dark theme you got there, nice! |
