A project we should work on...
I think we should try and make a linux os. We could get help from the slax community and from the myah linux community. What do you guys think?

Personally I love linux. I use it everyday. I'm using it as I write this. I use it on every server in my datacenter. But.. there are already *lots* of flavors out there, not sure if its worthwhile trying to reinvent the wheel.. unless you have some amazing ideas that haven't been done before.

Heyyo I found a guy with a linux based on slax its one for gammers and he needs a distro! Should we host him? Hes trying to make one thats a little under 500mb and he might make one with Americas Amrmy on it which would total to about to 1.50 gigs, but we could also host VMware to run the larger version. What do you guys think? link vmplayer its free. Runs on linux and PC.

Hi All,
I have a Linux Live CD Distro based on Slax 5.0.6 that has 3D accelerated drivers for both Radeon and Geforce cards. I have included in many 3D FPS titles and some other 3D games to demostrate the gaming possibilities of Linux, more specifically Slax ( Live CD based on Slackware Linux). I have a Live CD and a Live DVD. Here's a list of games on my DVD verison. 3D Games include: Army OPs (Full version) Quake 3 (Demo) Heretic2 (Demo) UT2004 (Demo) Soldier of Fortune (Demo) Doom3 (Demo) ET (demo) Tuxpuck Tuxkart Tuxracer Chromium Bzflag Quake2 (Demo) Miniracer Legacy Doom Cube Neverball NeverPutt I would be happy to work with you all on creating a Linux Live CD Gamer for PD Gaming, or you could host my current Live CD. (Sla-Game-Ax 2). Regards, Bodhi Visit my Website: http://www.geocities.com/bodhibkb |

I think its awesome that the linux community is moving toward high end graphic cards for the latest fps games! I'd love it if I could rely on linux for gaming too.
